Looking for an experience and program that can help supplement your homeschool science curriculum? The St. Louis Aquarium is excited to offer our Homeschool Day educational program! Homeschool Days are offered on the third Tuesday of every month between 10:00am-1:30pm and includes an educational lesson, Animal Ambassador encounters, and Aquarium access with a guided tour!

Class Size: Min. 10, Max of 40 (if fewer than 10 students register, the program will be canceled that month).

Cost for Students: $15.00 [ages 6-17]

Please Note: This is drop off only. Due to space limitations, policy and safety, we will not have parents and family members in the classroom. As we are an Education Facility, we strive to provide each student with a positive learning experience. If you choose to wait while your student is in class, we encourage you to explore the many attractions at Union Station [Union Station Attractions]. The classroom portion concludes at 11:30; you can meet us at the entrance of the Aquarium to join us for the guided tour or feel free to take your student through the aquarium at your own pace.

Parent Cost: $15.00 **[ only 1 parent per family may sign up. This price is for Aquarium admission only. Any additional parents/guardians that wish to attend may purchase tickets online at St. Louis Aquarium Tickets or at our ticket booth.]**

Lesson of the Month

Learn about the history of St. Louis and the mighty Mississippi River! September’s lesson, “Who Polluted the Mississippi?”, is an interactive lesson that teaches about how the growth of modern civilization has led to pollution and what each and every one of us can do to help our environment.

Animal Ambassador

Animal Ambassadors are one of the most important parts of the St. Louis Aquarium’s mission: education! These animals that you get to see up close will teach you a lot about their species and how their presence benefits the environment. As ambassadors of their species, they can tell us a lot about what we can do to help their species in the wild!

Aquarium access

​Homeschool Day fee includes one ticket to the St. Louis Aquarium per registered individual. There will be a guided tour immediately following the classroom experience. However, if participants wish to break for lunch and/or go through the aquarium at their own pace without an educator guide, they are welcome to do so.

Guided Aquarium Tour

Get a closer look at the St. Louis Aquarium through our guided Aquarium Tours led by our educators. Hear fun stories about the habitats, learn more about your favorite animals at the Aquarium, discover what it takes to care for our animals, and so much more!

** If you have 15 or more in your Co-Op, please contact Christine Campise we would be excited to provide you with your own Private Field Trip Experience. With this being a “first come, first serve” registration, we want to give everyone an opportunity to come to our Homeschool Day Program.**
