Please Note: This is drop off only. Due to space limitations, policy and safety, we will not have parents and family members in the classroom. As we are an Education Facility, we strive to provide each student with a positive learning experience. If you choose to wait while your student is in class, we encourage you to explore the many attractions at Union Station [Union Station Attractions]. The classroom portion concludes at 11:30; you can meet us at the entrance of the Aquarium to join us for the guided tour or feel free to take your student through the aquarium at your own pace.
Lesson of the Month
Learn about the history of St. Louis and the mighty Mississippi River! September’s lesson, “Who Polluted the Mississippi?”, is an interactive lesson that teaches about how the growth of modern civilization has led to pollution and what each and every one of us can do to help our environment.
Animal Ambassadors are one of the most important parts of the St. Louis Aquarium’s mission: education! These animals that you get to see up close will teach you a lot about their species and how their presence benefits the environment. As ambassadors of their species, they can tell us a lot about what we can do to help their species in the wild!
Homeschool Day fee includes one ticket to the St. Louis Aquarium per registered individual. There will be a guided tour immediately following the classroom experience. However, if participants wish to break for lunch and/or go through the aquarium at their own pace without an educator guide, they are welcome to do so.
